I hate this computer so much, Its such a piece of crap.

Well in about 6 hours it will be a Piece of crap, Soon as i give it to my neighbors dog to do its business.

I've lapped my heatsink and my cpu, And I still load at 63c no matter what.

I even dropped my volts from 1.53 to 1.51 SAME temps....

I'm sure I'll end up getting it worked out, Its just after 6 hours of lapping I still get crap temps. I'm not sure what the hell is up. But I Hope it fixes itself OR i am Going for AMD next chip they sell Don't care how damn slow it is.

EDIT: I can go from 55c Now issues, OCCT alll of a sudden says oooooh Lets give him 60c load. WTH... See this is why I stick with cars. lol

59F outside.
62F inside.

1.51 volts 3.7ghz. LAPPED CPU AND HEATSINK... I'm gonna pump 2.0volts and say screw it, I have a quad sitting by me anyways.

Also before i started lapping crap, I had 54C LOAD MAX temps. Now its worse.

It's an E6550... that thing can handle 72C. I see no problems? And you put 1.51V trhough it and you're surprised it runs hot?

Yeah, but Before lapping i had 54c load.

I'm getting 67c Load now.
I don't know if the New OCCT has bugs and is playing tricks on my Coretemp.exe Or what.

But I'm not to happy about it.

HOLD ON im gonna go try something besides my AS5. GRRR I'm gonna try that new OCZ stuff brb.

Did you do the razorblade check on both the CPU and the heatsink base and insure that you cannot see any light coming through between the edge and the CPU/base?

Your CPU warranty is probably already quite voided, so go for it!

Just do a test lap on an older CPU such as a junky socket 478 one, this is invaluable for the time when you do the real lap.

Also make sure you take pictures of the top of the CPU for the batch number, stepping etc...

Out of all the hardware I have had to RMA, a CPU has never been one of them. Go for it
