Vista Ultimate 64bit or 32 bit?

So i'm just curious.. I've asked a few people what the difference is.. All i've really gotten was the RAM support.. So with the WFP gift from M$.. I'm wondering what OCN would recommend..

Go for the 64 bit. The 64-bit allows for more memory access and when applications are actually written for a 64bit os they can utilize a different instruction set that is more efficient than 32 bit. plus a 64 can run almost all 32 apps.

Your hardware looks new enough that you should have a problem with 64 bit drivers

Should I add this to the collection...

Awesome thanks for the quick response.. So 64 BIT. I'd end up getting another set of a-data ram.. For a total of 4gb.. Sufficient enough for vista?

It really depends. 64-bit can give performance gains in some applications. It's also useful for allowing the user to use more than 3.25GB of ram (the 32-bit limit). Although there are these positives, there is less support for 64-bit OSes at the moment, And you may also have driver conflicts. Its really up to you. I believe 64-bit will get more popular in the coming years.

4 is just about perfect for vista, it runs perfectly fine on 2 but their is a nice little bump in 4.
I ran my lappy with 2 gigs for a few months with no problems, but bumped it up to 4 after i found out that it only had one stick of ram in it
