Of course you can try

And actually... Liquid Nitrogen is a LOT colder than -100C... The boiling point of Liquid Nitrogen is a nice balmy -194C... that's directly poured into the tube that's screwed onto the CPU. You'll easily hit a CPU temp of -160C that way.

Also, before hit -127C or so with his three stage cascade.

Yeah, you'll hit nice clock speeds, but you'll need better cooling on the PCU than just air or water.

uh if your mobo isent in the case where is it? cuz unless its in the freezer with your case . uh yea wouldent make sense to have it outside the freezer.

sorry to rain on your parade man. many have asked such questions.

what type of cooling do you have "air? liquid?" your best bet if you had liquid is put your rad and res in the freezer and let them cool to frezer ambient then run the bench. oh yea insulate

ps: should of put the thread in the "cooling experements" section seems more relavent there.

pps i dont wana sound like a ass but i dont wana see ya blow your pc up.

ehm....you already sound like that with offensive language and being mean, but still thank you for advices.

UMMMMM what, how is freezer ambient. Anyways so 24/7 is what oc is all about. Whatever dude, how do you think people found out what they know about 24/7. I can tell you it wasnt about pushing 24.7 thats for sure.

Anyways if your dad has access to stuff for icecream or whatever then he has access for DI which will be a far better record setter if you can set it up right.

Do some research and get some DI (its cheap) and set it up and go for it.

Again, good luck, hope you have sealed up your motherboard in a plastic bag or air tight container so no condensation gets on the board.

Hes putting his case inside of a freezer, which will lower his "room" and "ambient" tempetures, hes not directly cooling his cpu with a freezer.

And I understand how 24/7 OC's are found, and its not by sticking you pc in a freezer or by pouring liquid nitro on it. Thats for fun and experimentation.

Im just not that impressed by suicide runs. Show me a 10hr Prime95 Run, then we will talk..........

Understood but its not hte scardy cats that go for 24/7 only that get us to what we have now. Its the guys like OCN use to be or over at XS that push it that let us know what the limits are.

And what does 10hrs have to do with it. I go for 6 hrs. Ive had it crash at 36 hrs. Anyways yeah he needs luck though.
