What Cheap 120mm Fans Should I Get ? - Yate loons or Zalman ZM-F3? What Yate Loons?

Hi all,
I really need a new 120mm fan. The akasa one my case came with is rubbish. I really don't want to spend more than £6 inc P&P. Don't forget I'm in the UK.
I prefer the site http://www.chilledpc.co.uk as their postage is only £1.61

Heres my shortlist-

Yate Loons - I know people rate these. No idea what ones to get they both have different specs.

- YATE LOON 120mm - D12SM-12
-Model: D12SM-12
-RPM: 1650 +/- 10%
-CFM: 70.5
-dB: 33

- YATE LOON 120mm - D12SH-12
-Model: D12SH-12
-CFM: 88
-dB: 40

Zalman - This one is my favourite, but I don't know if its specs are exaggerated. Any opinions?

- Zalman ZM-F3 120mm fan
-Air volume at full speed (12V), CFM ±10% 72.2
-Noise level at full speed (12V), dB(A) 34
-Fan speed at full speed (12V), RPM ±10% 1800
-Air volume at reduced speed (7.5V), CFM ±10% -
-Noise level at reduced speed (7.5V), dB(A) 20
-Fan speed at reduced speed (7.5V), RPM ±10% 900

Or Something else (This may be a F/S thread or another UK site - just remember including postage to UK it must be no more than £6)

Heres my questions-
What yate loon is better the 40db 80cfm model or the 30db 70cfm model?
What fan out of the 3 would you choose (or something else)
Noise is not an issue, I have fan controllers and my pc sounds like a jet anyway.

the zalman fan is spot on as far as specs go. Its really quite an amazing fan. I cannot find it right now, but Vapor @ xtremesystems has put together a huge fan database, and the zalman is one of his top recommended.

The problem with the yate loon fans is that your not guaranteed to actually get a real yate.

I'd say you cant go wrong with the zalman.

I found the thread for those who want to know -

Zalman ZM-F3 - The shocker of the whole group. Really, it came out of left-field. No fluke here either, Cathar got nearly identical results. No extraneous noise, magic-scaling above ~1600RPM, does well on a radiator, a mere $10 and available nearly everywhere and just overall great performance. A gem of a fan in many respects. It is a sleeve bearing though, it's only detractor.

....definitely an awesome, awesome fan.
Anyone else got any opinions?

If you really are on a budget may i suggest something different. THESE Only £1.49 and shipping is free if you choose the super saver which says it takes 5 days, but its usually here in 3.

Thanks, I had the 80mm extra value ones. They always seem to be different brands, and the 80mm ones I got shifted alot of air but sounded louder than vantec tornados. Also it won't be free delivery, I only need 1 fan lol (£2.58 delivery). Ebuyer was my first choice but shipping kinda makes it not worthwhile.
Thanks anyway though.

I'd say go with the higher CFM Yate Loons. That way if they're too loud, you can just turn them down with your fan controller.

I have about 5 of the offbrand yate loons, and they aren't all that grand. The "apparently" push 88cfm. They push less air they my 110cfm slipstreams, and are much louder.

I think I'm gonna settle for the zalman, mainly because it has a 3-pin cable, the yates have only molex, so i'de need an adaptor for my fan controller.
