I'm still utterly confused at the differences among review sites though.

Legionhardware, which is a review site I personally hold in very high regard, claims the Vendetta 2 tests worse than a Zalman 9500.

Other review sites say the Vendetta 2 tests better than the T.R.U.E.

I mean. What gives?

I gotta get one and test it myself. It's only like 30 bucks or something so no biggee. Will most likely freebie it once I'm done testing (I love the TRUE; even if the OCZ beats it, I'm keeping the TRUE. Took me 5 hours to lap that bastardo!)

I may experiment with filling the grooves between the sink base and the heatpipes with some solder flux as well ... something that seems worth trying.

The Thermalright bolt thru kit works fine with my Vendetta, the stock push pins made my board bend pretty badly, not anymore ;]

Only problem was you have to use the top backet that comes with the Vendetta, after you remove the push pins, the holes have a little uh knick? in them so when you are tightening the screws on the bolt-thru the springs get stuck so you can't tighten them all the way, I had to take a really small screwdriver and lift the springs as I tightened and it was fine..
