I spent 5 minutes on Google and didn't find much of anything, deactivated on newegg, back ordered on some place called tankguys and zipzoomfly and tiger direct didn't have anything.

I still vote for Q6600, search around and you can find it sub 200$.

quad core, and if the q9450 costs too much for you, the q6700 is $279 at newegg with HSF. with that 10x multi, it will oc like craaazy, based on what the q6600 does with a 9x multi.

What do you think I should get?
If you cannot afford to upgrade for 4+ years, I suggest spending 1/2 and getting a cheaper C2D. You can spend the other 1/2 in 3 years and get something far faster than anything sold today. In 4+ years, any cpu will be a dinosaur. If you don't believe this, pick a processor from 4 years ago that you feel is still a decent gaming processor.
