We shall see! I have everything on order for the cooling. I decide to go for the EK NB/crosslink combo and I also ordered another MCW30 for the NB (since I sold my last one). I also had to order the Thermalrigh HR-09 mosfet coolers...

The only thing I am missing is a Dtek Fusion, but I think I'm going to give my lapped Apogee GT a try first.

I was looking at the mounting, and it looks like you could fit an HR-05 on the SB and an enzotech copper sink on the crosslink. The two coolers would just share a mounting hole... maybe.

Where you able to get your board working? I forces the new 1007 bios with AFUDOS and a USB drive. Since then, it has been perfect! I couldnt even use the EZ Flash tool in the bios, it would instantly lock up and turn a different color.

Once i lap my true I'll try for 4ghz. I can currently do 3.7 at around 1.34-5 or thereabouts vCore

edit: in case you were wondering, it's with a vDroop mod.

I will have some real benches in a few weeks.
The fact that you can load your BIOS at 1.299V running 3.8GHz (is that 380x10?) is quite impressive indeed. I need 1.2875V to boot my Q6600 at 400*9 and 1.4V to run it stable. If it were allowable under law and forum policy, I'd be willing to bet a dollar that you'll easily hit 4.0GHz under 1.500V, and in the neighborhood of 1.4xxV for a final stable setting.

Keep me posted. I'm potentially going to sell my Q6600 and get a Q6700 to try for 4GHz on air myself.

Mine is lapped and I dont have the Batch code. But I have another Q6700 I got for my brother, so I am going to test it out as well. I will be starting a Quad core OCing thread and will post my findings. I hope these Q6700s prove to be good OCers.

And yes, I am running 380x10 ATM. I am in the process of dialing in the DDR3 ram. I have been doing a lot of reading. BTW, I am getting marginally better scores with the DDR3 comapred to the DDR2 with my P5E setup. I have almost exact scores with the Everest and Super PI tests. I manged to tweak the ram timings with the rampage bios to get 59ns latency with DDR2, and my DDR3 at CAS7 running 760MHz (DDR3 1520) is getting 58ns (but I havent tweaked the timings yet).
