Yes, I took a couple of old Molex adapters and cut 6 pieces of ~6" of wire from each. Then I cut the power/hdd/reset cable sort of in the middle (to give each side plenty of wire to work with), stripped the wire, then spliced/soldered one end of the cables together. BTW - I slipped a couple of pieces of heat shrink (one for each end of the wire) over the ends and soldered them together. I was careful and thorough and it took me 30 minutes-ish to do this. Here are some pictures to help you out.

I hid the ugly part of the wires so you can't tell at all.

Why, oh why, couldn't Antec have made these wires 6-8" longer??

Awesome! I'm going to have to give that a try... thanks for the idea and the pics to help! +

I have another question

Im thinking about watercooling because I cant get my cpu above 3.4ghz without the temps soaring... even with the TRUE . I have never done any WC before so i have a few initial noob questions before i take the dive.

First, I go to lan parties quite frequently and I was wondering if I would have to drain the entire loop when I want to move it, or is that not a problem. (Im talking about in the car and carried into a house, all that movement)

More to come later im sure, Im just in the thinking stages atm

This looks really good man. I think I'm going to try your reversed hard drive mounting...How tough is that to pull off?

Thanks Psy! it wasn't hard to do, just a little time consuming drilling and counter-syncing the new mounting holes in those sythe mounts. I really like the way they turned out though, there is alot more airflow over and around the HDDs compaired to the bulky mounts originally provided. (I got the idea from Run N. Gun)

Yeah, its the best looking controller I have found so far
Its called the Kama Meter and its by Sythe (they make the coolest stuff!)
Its pictures silver, but it comes with a couple faceplates to match different case colors. The only mod I had to do was paint the originally silver knobs black.

Thanks for looking guys!

Well I've definitely got the Scythe mounts. I just need to decide if I want to turn them around or not. I don't have a good saw so I may end up using them the regular way, but I really like the reversed cabling.

You can definatly use them backwards without flipping the mounts around, I just didn't like the way the black mounts stuck out into the case with the HDDs but is alot easier to do so it might be worth it

Ill take some pics when I get home of the different ways that I tried to give you a few ideas. Its a great cable management mod that makes a big difference In the looks and air flow of your case.
