Alright! So I did some painting last night and today, It needs another coat but Ill have to wait till it dries overnight for that, so here is were I am atm

Here it is last night, all primed and ready to go!

I used an oil based spray can primer but we will be using a spray gun to do the black.

Tools of choice It may not look like much, but it can paint like a beast!

Starting the painting process

Almost done!

All done for today, its starting to look really good

One of two more coats tomorrow and ill be able to start putting stuff into this bad boy.

Stay tuned!

that looks awesome!
by the way, my dad just picked up an A900 for himself, not me :swearing:
I really want to mimic your green/black mod, except I would add purple

How much did that paint gun cost? What kind of compressor do you use? I REALLY want one... Maybe if somebody buys my ram I can buy one

Yes, I took a couple of old Molex adapters and cut 6 pieces of ~6" of wire from each. Then I cut the power/hdd/reset cable sort of in the middle (to give each side plenty of wire to work with), stripped the wire, then spliced/soldered one end of the cables together. BTW - I slipped a couple of pieces of heat shrink (one for each end of the wire) over the ends and soldered them together. I was careful and thorough and it took me 30 minutes-ish to do this. Here are some pictures to help you out.

I hid the ugly part of the wires so you can't tell at all.

Why, oh why, couldn't Antec have made these wires 6-8" longer??
mayeb you should have cute the wires away from the connectors so we dont see it when you try to cable manage

It doesn't look like it in the last picture, but I actually have ~4.5" of stock wire and only 2" is visible in the case. BLKKROW brings up a good point though, since every mobo is different, be sure to measure how much length you'll have visible before cutting the wires.

BTW - Hello neighbor, BLKKROW! (I'm in Queen Creek)

They are not bad really... the one am using is called "The Critter" spray gun

You can pick it up at various hardware stores for like $50

Here is a link to the site were you can find all the info.

As far as the air compressor is concerned... anything that can keep about 90lbs of pressure for a decent period of time will do you just fine.

*Edit* Just found it on Amazon for 40 bucks
