what mobo to buy ?

Thread Starter
k im thinkin of makin the switch to intel an getting an E6550 , i was thinkin of gettin a striker 2 extreme but its ddr3 only an cant afford 4gb of good ram too so what sli mobo has good performance for overclocking and an nvidia chipset , im after a really high end mobo that will last when i upgrade to a 45nm cpu pref 1333 bus speed , also a cmos reset switch instead of jumbers would be a bonus (have had to pull out soundcard so so so so soooo many times to get to jumpers on this mobo am just sick of doin it lol)

cheers.

oh and also pcix 2.0 for when i upgrade gpu @ a later date

MSI are pretty good, Put it this way I have more faith in them than ASUS lately: their QC is truly dissapointing, let alone the design flaws.

tho the design on the mobo is not to good , just noticed where the pci slot is , might be an issue for soundcard if i decide to go sli down the road

There is no easy way to switch mobo without formatting.

hmmm...that does look like really poor placement on the ONLY pci slot there

Theres always this really nice evga-

I would go for the evga 780i, now I've looked into it. Dunno if it has a CMOS switch though.
