360 wireless only ?

hi
was just wondering if the xbox 360 is wireless only ? can i run a direct line into it and play online or do i need to get there adaptor.im trying to save some cash here,and dont want to buy the adaptor if i dont have to

You can do wired or wireless, and for gaming, and overall online performance, wired is much better.

There's a port for an RJ-45 cable on the back of the system. Just take your internet cable (Has to be broadband I believe) and plug it into there, and you should be up an running.

yeah got it running went through my linksys wireless. it has cat 5 plug ins on the back plugged it in there worked like a charm screw MS wireless adaptor just another way to make $$$ off the poor =[

or to make it wireless

I have the old mn740 wireless adapter and my router is in my bedroom with my computer and the 360 is at the other end of the house in the living room
