Tried flashing my bios, now won't boot

Thread Starter
Ok, i'm the guy who was asking how to flash the bios.... i tried with the files on the xfx website and now the computer won't boot. And by that mean i get nothing at all. I have the FF code on the motherboard

I tried resetting the cmos settings, no luck. I tried leaving the battery out 40 min with the power cable disconnected, nothing either.

Anything else i can do? or do i absolutely need a new motherboard?

I'm gonna guess that you'll need to RMA your board.

Not entirely sure, but it sounds like the BIOS flash failed and now you have a $300 piece pf PCB.

RMA:

Quote:
A Return Merchandise Authorization or Return Material Authorization (RMA) is a transaction whereby the recipient of a product arranges to return defective goods to the supplier to have the product repaired or replaced or in order to receive a refund or credit for another product from the same retailer or corporation. In practice, an RMA is only issued after a series of tests.

Thiers some ways to recover boards like putting the bios flash on a floppy and booting up. Might want to check the website for your motherboard see what kinda recovery steps they recommend.
