Hi everyone I am having trouble finding a mobile provider that I can connect a card or usb device to my laptop to give me internet wherever I go. Can anyone here recommend a network and a card. Price is not a huge concern to me I am mainly looking for speed and reliability. I will be commuting mostly between Boston and NYC and my latptop is a lenovo thinkpad t61p if it makes a difference.

I have Sprint Mobile Broadband. its $60 a month for unlimited use. Its not too fast about 700-1000kbs down and around 400-500kbs up. I also have a 959U modem but i would get the 727 modem.

Also try this forum http://www.evdoforums.com/

Also don't go with verizon they have download limits and do not allow online gaming or streaming music.

That sucks that verizon does that and i'll most likely go with sprint. I do believe you but do you have a link where it says no gaming? I really appreciate your time and help. thx

I have a buddy that drives a semi and he uses Sprint for gaming etc. He's tried AT&T and it sucked way to much lag. With sprint he gets min lag and he's able to play world of warcraft and use teamspeak all at the same time.

If I had to choose it would be sprint for me.
