Thread Starter
ok my friend today was telling me that he was gonna stay with 32 bit vista when he has 4 gigs of ram. and i think that its stupid since windows won't be able to recognize it all, thats what i have read and im pretty sure its true.

anyway my real question is what is the big difference between 32 and 64 bit vista?

Well, there is no really simple way of explaining it other than "more RAM is recognized (due to differences in physical address), and it's a different architecture"

Here's a coupla wikipedia articles. Read them, and decide for yourself what the big deal is about 64 bit

32-bit
64-bit
