What is your stock voltage? Some boards are setting it higher then others. Mine went with 1.214 or 1.212 which easily runs 3ghz stable.

What kind of temps are you seeing at load? I get into the upper 50s easily even lapped after running OCCT for awhile. However this doesn't change much if I run vcore all the way up to 1.312.

Q9300@3.2ghz still stable after 1hour prime95.

Is that good enough to move on to 3.3ghz ?

EDIT: 3.3ghz also still stable after 1hour of prime95

I have two 9800 GX2's in Quad SLI mode.

im at 1.39v at 3.3 ghz with a nice big cooler. but i see people here with lessor cards and clocking getting better 3d mark scores? with my Quad SLI i should be getting 20,000 + on 3d mark 06. Anyone have any pointers ? or a setup similar to mine that can help me?

I'm currently testing my Q9300@3.4ghz for stability. I have 2x 9800gx2. Will try 3dmark06 later on and see what i'm getting.

I got 16764 with 3D Mark 06. what did you get ?

I don't think Quad SLI is the bottleneck for 3D Mark 06.

EDIT:16846 on 2nd run, after disabling some unnecessary background processes.

hey guys, im new to this and was just wondering, when you're reporting the vcore's that u use, is this the value displayed in your bios or from cpu-z?

i'm trying to get 3.4 from my q9300, and im using 1.35 vcore in bios, but it vdroops down to 1.26ish in cpu-z, and it isnt stable, so im guessing i would have to increase vcore, but im not sure if i shud go past 1.36V in bios b/c 1.3625V is the max recommended by intel OR does the 1.3625V recommended by intel refer to the displayed value of cpu-z?
