real temp showing me going no higher than 55 at load after a bit of lapping, very scary to start, but after the first couple of seconds you can see just how 'unflat' the processors are, so you understand the difference you're going to make.

Hello

I have this setup
q9300
asus p5q deluxe
scythen mugen
ram team xtreem dark 2x2gb cl4 oc ram
gigabyte hd4850
antec p182
corsair hx620

Please tell me what setting do you suggest for long term overclock (2 to 3 years).
I'm not searching for extreme oc but I would like to have reasonable speed.
I was thinking:

vcore 1,25
fsb 430
multi 7.5

So what do you think ?

thank you
br

It depends on a couple of things. One might be your cpu's VID. With 1.25 vcore you could get anything from 3,0 to 3,3 GHz which fits in your estimate
I'm sure your processor should last 2-3 years on that!

It should last 3 years on stock.

But yeah, it will run stable for atleast 2-3 years with that overclock + vcores + cooler etc.

Can you change my status from "On Order" to "2.5GHz" (soon to change, once I get the power button installed on my computer).
