So I hear... Was lookin at the 9550/9650 when I ran across it in the FS section here...

Paid the equivalent to a new retail Q66 right now (190) but he says its only been used to check VID and that its working. also off loaded my Q66 + 320 HD (dust collector) to a buddy for 160 so it ends up being 30$ out of pocket...

I am piecing together a WC loop as we speak to go with it... Gona be fun

so i did the pencil mod, and i think i shaded enough, in bios vcore is 1.3325, cpu id reports 1.304 at idle and 1.288 during stress, the difference between idle and stress is
.016 and before the mod at idle 1.324 stress 1.265 so yea guys it works plus on the occt graphs i have no more vcore spikes

If you shade just a bit more you can get it to 0 drop.

yeah i wouldn't expect it to get any higher. i just want to squeeze as much out of it to keep me happy till i can afford a quad.

sorry to go out of topic from what you are currently discussing about,
but i have a question.

Can this motherboard (750i FTW) hold 3 video cards?

lets say like...
2x GTX 260s in SLI
and 1x of some other card like 9800 or something?

I want to run 3 monitors in SLI and it seems like the only way I can run 3 monitors with SLI enabled is to have 3 video cards, 2 in SLI and the 3rd one is for the other monitor.

so, can this motherboard hold 3?
and what do you guys think of the monitor solution? any other ideas?

Its a dual GPU motherboard. If you can find a tiny enough PCI card to fit between the two in SLI, that would be the way to do it.
