I've been running 1800+ fsb for over a year now with both a dual and a quad (E8400/Q9550) with no problems whatsoever.

Sweet. Is anyone able to hold my hand a bit on my first overclock? I have been reading quite a bit. However very few people have really played with a q8200. So trying to find whats safe has been tough. Mainly what voltages to use. Can anyone give me a safe baseline where to set my voltages?

When im changing settings, i dont even make it to the first screen, without having to reset bios. lol

Take it slow. Small bumps in FSB and vcore.

Where is your OC now? What are your settings? vcore, SPP, FSB?

What stress tests are you running?

I bet this is such a fail question, but why multiply by 2?

edit: Also, is it a bad idea to set my multiplier to 6 as to get to having my ram to 1200mhz, without having my cpu at 3.2+ghz?

The multi you see in BIOS is only for CPU. As for your ram, it's DDR (double data rate) that's why you multiply by 2. The data rate is doubled.

Only OC one conponent at a time. Get your CPU OC stable before trying to OC your ram.
