My Striker II never got above 55C. You should remove the heat pipes and replace the TIM. The OEM stuff burns to toast after a while. At least that's what mine looked like when I bought it used.

Never tried removing it due to how hard it was to remove the MSI P6N Platinum heat pipe without damaging it:/.

Wonder if AS5 will be dangerous on it, maybe should use the Noctua TIM.

I replaced my NB and SB paste and the thermal pads on the Mosfets, got me another couple of hundred mhz out of my Q6600

My OC has recently become unstable (I guess it never was in the 1st place) so i'm thinking about raising the vtt to 1.3 and lowering the vcore. However, I thought I would check to make sure that a vtt of 1.3v won't damage anything.
1.3v VTT will be fine

Question.... Has anyone else lost the ability to record stereo mix? I was able to do this with Vista but the option is now gone :/ I have shown disabled devices as well.

SPP is what other boards call the MCH, also called the North Bridge, its the top motherboard chip with the big heatsink on it you attach the fan to...

Your everest may not read it right... Try this beta one and see if its any different... I remember it being all screwy with the other everests...

http://www.mediafire.com/?odrkxdmuzu5

5.5 may read it right, but 4.5 didnt....

I've never been able to get S.M.A.R.T reading but I've always ran RAID0 on this board so I think it disables programs reading it directly.
Have you tried using SpeedFan to read the SMART info?
