I love this board ! I finally got my Q6600 stable at 3.5ghz today, so I wanted to share my settings, maybe it will help someone...

FSB 1560 QDR (390 FSB*9) Q6600 G0 1.28vid
MEM 780 (1:1)
Vcore 1.5v (bios)
VTT 1.4v
MEM 2.1v
NB 1.5v
NF200 1.20v

GTLVREF 95,100,95,100

In the end, I think that adjusting the Gtlvref definitely seemed to improve the stability of my system...

it helped me, thanks! it wouldnt get into windows with those same settings, so i upped the voltages by one step and it allowed me to do basic computer tasks. it crashed when i played games though.

so that helped me realize that i need better cooling. the megahelms and a 60mm fan for the NB will be coming in from newegg once i can confirm that they will fit this board!

any thoughts? is anyone running the mega on their 750i?

ok thanks for the input.

im mainly wondering if it will clear the stock mosfet heatsink on the left side of the CPU. if not ill either send it back OR ill get some different mosfet/nb/sb cooling.

i also want to try running it with some 38mm panaflos in push/pull. maybe then ill just make a cowl to push the heat directly out of the back of the case.

ill report back once ive got it on there.

Wow it has been so long on this thread. I forgot about it. The EVGA FTW is an excellent board. I have had it almost 2 years if not 3. Still running strong. I ran it at 4.ish for the longest time. I started seeing a couple errors after a year. So I backed it down to stock 3.16. I have the computer next to me just sitting. Trying to decide what to do with it. I have a new i7 970 on a Asus board.

I would have gone with the FTW3 but first one was DOA read some others having issues so I went with a better board. Asus had it at the time with the color scheme I wanted. LOL.

As far as the FTW I have not heard much, if at all, bad about the 750i series.

COMPLETE GARBAGEEEEEEEEEEEE
Its not the board man. This board can be very frustrating. It took me a over a month to get to 4.9GHz. your going to have to feel the board out. 2 hrs? lmao.

Edit, I just noticed how old your post was and that you upgraded and obliterated the FTW with a Gigabyte so nvm. hahaha

so i was just running my sig rig @ 3.5. it was pretty stable(LOL). let me name off what i was doing when it crashed...

prime 95 blend, 4 cores, got through about 4 passes.
furmark @ stability testing, xterme GPU burning in and temp mon, 8x AA, 1280x 1024 windowed, getting about 28FPS.
google chrome with approx 25 tabs open (normal for me).
logging with rivatuner, temp will be below.
i print screened and was messing around in paint with the screenshot when it blue screened and beeped at me alot like a little b*7(4.

GPU were almost flatlined at 85 degrees C - stock coolers, 90% fan.
CPU was flatlined at 49 degrees C - megahelms + loons in push/pull.

is that good? im using these settings: THX to CPTEKS!
FSB 1560 QDR (390 FSB*9) Q6600 G0 1.28vid
MEM 780 (1:1)
Vcore 1.5v (bios)
VTT 1.4v
MEM 2.1v
NB 1.5v
NF200 1.20v

GTLVREF 95,100,95,100

i just put the megahelms on there, maybe i should slow down?
