I thought you may have trouble finding it

I already checked to see if I had saved somewhere but I can't find it D; I'm sure someone here has it saved though.

The SZ17 bios is the one I used to get to 4.9GHz. It also has the best RAM latency and bandwidth. Great bios.

Unfortunately after a while I was plagued with video corruption. The SZ1H bios however, made the system stable again, but at a cost.

The RAM latency and bandwith suffers with any bios past SZ17. Its only noticeable in benchmarks, but knowing I had to gimp performance to gain stability kind of bothered me for a while.

NB/memory latency and bandwidth performance will increase simply by increasing NB voltage. Don't even have to change any FSB. Just more voltage will equal tighter NB latency.

Thats true. NB volts make a little difference but that won't overcome the hit of having the CPU Fast Read setting disabled.

On the SZ17 there isn't a CPU Fast Read setting. Its just fast.

I dont know about latencies, but for me the SZ17 was the most stable...

I was overclocking my nforce4 ultra mobo the other night and it brought me back to the basics/patience, and inspired me to redo the 750i FTW overclock and this is the result.



The only thing different from the last time trying this is using a 64bit OS. Windows 7 64bit SP1. I'm not sure if that is what made the difference, but now I have to reevaluate my findings on this mobo.

I was mainly doing this for the Memory Madness MKII Competition and was curious if it could be stable. With a little GTLref tweaking it is. Sweet.

The CPU core voltage is 1.312v under load. I'm currently testing RAM timings at 5-5-4-15-25. 80% complete with no errors.

What did you end up with for ref settings? I've played around trying to get 4.5 stable on mine (500x9), with no luck. It can bench but fails OCCT.

I tired for 4.5 too but there is just to much heat for my cpu cooler. Needs water cooling. Or maybe a maybe a Megahalem? It made it half way though prime 95 on 1.36v, so 1.375 or 1.38 should be stable. I don't want to my cpu testing it though. haha.

We all know how sharing settings goes, but on rare occasions it helps.
FSB 1.25v
Lane 0 = 70
Lane 1 = 45

One thing I've noticed though, every time I find a stable overclock Lane 0 is always 20 to 30 higher than lane 1.
