Hi Guys I wanted to let you all know that I now offer Powdercoat as well as paint service for PC chassis and exteriors.
Powdercoat can be relatively inexpensive if the metal is ready for the paint and a simple color is chosen and the chassis is straightforward to take down.
Powdercoat can get expensive if the surfaces need to be prepped and the color choice requires multiple coats and the chassis is complex and requires a lot of time to take down and reassemble.
Although prices will vary according to the conditions above in general it's about $150 for a chassis if CyberDruidPC has to take the chassis apart and reassemble it and there is no stripping or blasting involved.
Sandblasting adds between $40 and $80 to the cost depending on how long it takes. Stripping (of paint not anodizing) is a similar cost and sidesteps waiting on the turn around for sandblasting.
A complex chassis like the Cosmos has a lot of surface area and alot of parts to take down...something like that I need to charge an additional $50.
I can only quote prices for powdercoating on a (pun warning) case by case basis so PM if you would like to get yhour case powdercoated.
Here's some Tubage of what's involved in reassembling a chassis.
