I would say with your setup medium/low settings will get about 30FPS.

I only get 30-50FPS with everything maxed out AA and AF at max running 1280x1024 and with a draw distance mod installed so I can see 10x further... Extreme I know but it looks

Also downloaded a few new clothing skins... Got Jacket that Duke wears in Fear n Loathing In Las Vegas...

Riding infront The Four Dragons Casino

Coastal road heading toward San Fierro

Parachute towards the dam looking across Las Venturas

also note that the PC version with mouse and keyboard, there is no auto aim only manual aim. But if you have a PC controller, then autoaim can be turned on

I bet its the mod bringing down your FPS..is it?

will my computer out-perform my xbox or not? (could never really tell what FPS xbox delivers)

I plan to run it at 1280x1024, af x8 everything maxed out..possibly the x10 visibility mod(if it doesnt bring my FPS down alot)

I doubt it would be playable at those settings on your PC... Its possible but not with with 10x Draw Distance mod.

Its most definetley the 10x DD mod that has brought my FPS down... With out it and everything running maxed out it does about 60-80FPS and with the aa and af dropped down to about 4x it does 100+.

SA is a very GPU power hungry game when maxed out.

Oh, hell no. Your rig will do WAY better than an Xbox.

Absolutely. Our systems are pretty comparable, with the main advantage I have over you is a 6800 GT over your 6600 GT. I have SA cranked up to something like 1280x1024, with high detail with AA turned on, and it runs great. You may not be able to hit the ultra-high resolutions, but you will be able to go much higher and turn on more effects than you would on an Xbox.
