RAZR V3m Sprint Ringtone help?

Thread Starter
I currently have a Motorola RAZR V3m from Sprint and I've finally got some .mp3 songs on my MicroSD card and can play them in the Music Store thing, but is there anyway to set a song as a ringtone? I really don't want those corny little default "sounds"....

If you have any sort of music editing program then it's easy. Just use something like wavepad or cooledit pro. Once you get the MP3 cropped to the part you want as a ringer just save it as a .m4a file. From there just use an uploader site to send to your phone.

Shouldn't need to do that. I have the same phone and I think you can set ringtones off the SD card. If not, there's always bitpim, or MPT.

3GP is an excellent conversion program, btw. http://mobilehackerz.jp/contents/3GPConv
