nvidia dropped driver support for the 8000 series. It may be something worth considering when deciding between a 8800GTS 512 and 9800GTX.
Anything Lower than 30-35 for me isnt really playable in Crysis

40-60 is nice however.

Funny thing is i havnt played crysis for ages cause Multiplayer sucks big time.

You need 40-60 fps? good luck

I score ~19.5k in 3dmark06, and I STILL don't get 40 @ 1680x1050 on very high

Ive seen constant 30 fps in crysis with the gx2, q6600, 4gb ram 6500, everthing stock on ultra high settings, but if im not mistaken it was with a res of 1024 x 768..

Dropped driver support? No they haven't. That's ridiculous. So have they also 'dropped driver support' for the 6 and 7 series as well? They play most new games just fine with the provided drivers (albeit at lower detail levels, but that's a result of older tech.)

Nvidia dropped driver support for the 8000 series my ass!
The 8000 series is one of the biggest breakthroughs in gpu history, it's driver support wouldn't be dropped within 12 months of it's release haha
