OC'ing P4

When i overclock my P4 i use the AI overclock but when it overclocks the FSB it also overclocks my Ram and my system fails to boot how can i over clock my P4 Cpu without overclocking my Ram.

I beileve my processor is capibiliy of more than 4.4ghz stable i've seen people get 4.5 to 5.0 Ghz on Air Cooling

Please could you help

P.S. I'm ordering a Q6600 when i next get paid which is the end of the month

dont use the AI overclock, do it on manual.

The AI think is useless, I have it on my manchester and i only use it to monitor the speed, do it in the BIOS, much better, more stable!

Ok i'll try that tonight. What sort of Ghz should i be able to achieve I was hoping it will go to 4.5ghz. Because i play Counter Strike Source and when i run a video test with all the settings on highest i get 154fps
