The other week I had to RMA my mobo as it packed up. The new one arrived on Friday and I set about setting it all up which worked fine. Now to the problem:

Lets start with the specs:

Processor: E8200/Artic Freezer Pro 7
Mobo: XFX 680i LT SLi
GPU: EVGA 9800GTX: 800/9174/1200
RAM: 2GB 800MHz
PSU: 650W
BIOS: P07(newest according to xfx)

On my old 680i I had reached 3.6GHz on my overclock and could have probably gone higher(but I was happy with 3.6). With the new motherboard however, I am unable to even get it completly stable at 3.2. Now what makes it really bad is that my temps are not even very high at all. at 3.2 the highest it goes is 48 degress and it idles at 30-38 degrees.

On my old mobo the only settings I changed in bios was disabling of speed specturm, C1E and speed step. I had the Vcore at 1.28v and the ram was at 2.2v the ration was 1.1 and the timing were at 4-4-4-11 2T. On the new mobo inorder to get the semi stable post mentioned above I had to increase the FSB voltage to 1.5 and the SPP voltage to 1.4.

The cooler is definatly seated properly and I am using AS5 thermal paste. have not lapped either of them but my try it on the cooler as it was only 15 quid and might get a Thermalright to see if it makes a difference anyway.

Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
