I'm not saying it will die, just saying that I have seen a lot of posts of people killing there 45nm with just a tat over 1.4 vCore in under a week (in this and in other forums).

If you want to run it with a higher voltage, be my guest. Just don't complain if and when it craps out

pure luck I think, I bought my chip at fries but it wouldnt boot (it was an open model and Im guessing an overclocker returned it cause it didnt overclock well or something of that nature lol) so they gave me a new one but still had the same problem turned out my old asus mobo needed a bios update and instead of dealing with that I got the 780i

Thx for the advice : ]
i will edit it today my friends !

no probs, memory is very sensitive to voltage. What memory do you have? Some of the high end stuff has a warranty coverage for 2.3V, so you may be able to run that.

But yes, definitely lower the Vcore

Let us know how it goes

I know with the 8400's and E3110's you really will "burn" your cpu with that kind of voltage. Its one reason why I kept my other 3110 that I accidentally ordered. There comes a time when the CPU no longer preforms at what it once could with stock voltage and you have to keep upping the voltage to break the 4.0 mark. Eventually you'll burn the CPU down to 2.6 GHZ and 4.0 will be pretty bad to achieve. (From what I've seen anyway)

My bench voltage limits:

RAM - 2.55v for DDR2 and 2.1v for DDR3
CPU - 1.6vcore on air, 1.75vcore on water and 1.9vcore for ln2/dice

..as long as your just benching, those voltages are fine. I would really hesitate to run any DDR2 for 24/7 use with a voltage much higher than 2.2v

Nice job on teh OC... now see if you can bring your RAM timings down some to tighten up that latency, your Pi times should be ~1.5sec faster than they currently are...could just be your OS though..

Here some change that i done

Core Voltage: 1.425 V - 1.4000
Memory Voltage: 2.40 V - 2.3
VTT FSB Votage: 1.300 V - Not change
NorthBridge(NB) Votage: 1.525 V - 1.500

i cant load my PC lets then 1.4000
The new volt fot the memory now on cheak i hope it will passt..

: ] seein batter, isnt ?

your vcore is still to high. Your still running the risk of burning your cpu in.

Do not run your CPU over 1.365v for 24/7 Use mate

People who run their CPU ofer 1.365v for 24/7 Have reported the following...

--> Dead CPU
--> CPU Will not overclock as high
--> CPU's Overclock decreases until the CPU will barely OC at all

My PC very hard to run clear at 2.3 Memory volt..

i try first 6-7-7-18
and it wont pass to windows..
now i am on cheak at 6-6-6-22 .. may-B it will be batter..
the CPU volt is now lower then befor, its on 1.400 and when i finsh with the memory i will try to lower more the cpu voltage .Allsow i try to low the NB voltage to 1.500 andd the VTT fsb volt i low to 1.3000 and its seen batter then before, my pc is not stuk at the this time i hope it will be batter then before .

BTW
is some here have the same core speed like me and he work at the volt 1.875 ???
i think in this core speed wont run less then 1.400 voltage :/
