E8400 Board?

Thread Starter
Sup all,

Looking for ideas on an Intel board for the E8400 with some restrictions

Supports 1066 Ram...and I very much perfer Asus.. just because I personally have always had good luck with them.

Going to be running 4 gigs of ram with an 8800GT and would like 6 or more sata connections. Dual PCIx16 is not important.. but would be a bonus.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For ASUS, the P5K-E, the P5K Deluxe, the P5E (any type: regular, Rampage, Rampage Formula, etc). Something else, would recommend getting an Abit IP35 Pro, a DFI Lanparty DK P35 T2RS, Gigabyte EX38 DS4 or something else. There are a ton! Go to this URL: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...d&Order=RATING or do your own advanced search under motherboard, intel, lga 775, and then go advanced and choose the options you want. Let us know how you OC turns out!

a second for the DFI Lanparty DK P35-T2RS and the Gigabyte EX38-DS4. I believe there is a deal for the Gigabyte mobo on newegg for $130 right now ($200 retail).
