Worth getting another 8800gtx for SLI

I'm thinking of Purchasing another 8800gtx for SLI will this make a big difference in fps? I heard an 8800gtx in sli isent as good as 2 8800gts in SLI so i dont know if its worth paying the extra $$$. ( i dont see how 2 8800gtx in SLI is not better then 2 8800gts).

In lower resolutions with no AA, G92 8800GTS in SLI are on par with G80 8800GTX in SLI... bump up to a higher resolution like 1920x1200 and maybe 2 or 4XAA, and the 8800GTX in SLI wins out...

As for the purchase, only do it if you can get a decent price ($220ish)... some people in the OCN marketplace have been letting theirs go for a VERY nice price ... STN71190 sold one awhile back for a cool $200 shipped

Absolutely it is wort to have an SLI setup of GTX. If you play at least 1680x1050 and AA+AF on 8800GTX SLI is much better than 8800GTS SLI. 768MB of RAM is a huge advantage over 8800GTS in high resolution and AA/AF.

I second that

I use to run two 8800GTX on my Striker Extreme, oh well you can see what happened to that one.

Definately worth it for how cheap they can be found for, plus even if you play at resolutions where two g92 gts' would be better, it would still only be a couple of fps, but the fps gained by the second card will increase your fps a decent amount no matter what.
