1h 5minutes, temperatures dropped to 52c on both cores. I'll try to push as high as I can for the time being, but at what temperature should I not exceed? And also, is there a proceedure for increasing the CPU speed, without increasing the FSB? I don't wish to fry out my motherboard while OCing the processor.

Unfortunately there is no way to increase the CPU speed without increasing the FSB. Some chips have an unlocked multiplier, but the E6600 doesn't.

Dont worry about frying the motherboard. Keep your NB voltage under 1.4v, the SB at 1.5v and you will be fine.

To find the max temp for your chip Intel offers Processor Spec Finder, but I did the work for you.

Here are the official specs for the E6600. Basically dont exceed 60C
