Yeah, if nothing works i will have a friend lend me his 500 watt.
As for this one, i honestly bought it for cheap, i have no clue (been meaning to buy a new one :'D)
Maybe i should take out a fan or two and shut of my frount panel lights?
Lemme dl the manual for your mobo and find the ram ratio settings for you, should be on the same screen as all the oc settings, make sure to hit Ctrl+F1 when you enter bios to bring up all the ram settings for a gigabyte mobo... On my DS3R the ram ratio thing reads as 2.00 but it just means 400 will be x2, or 800mhz same as the stock on yours, going to double check in your bios though.

If you cant make much more progress tonight id try and get your friend to lend you that 500w psu to see if it sheds any light on the situation, although you should start lookin for a new one anyways.

bump the vcore up a little bit like wiggy said, in little increments, and if you make it to 3ghz and can get into windows, then test for stability with orthos or prime95 whichever you like (adding vcore until stable), try and stay under 1.46-1.5v, since thats probably gonna be toasty on that cpu

Try 1.45v, if that doesnt get you anywhere its probably your psu, and if so youll have to try your friends or order a new one...
