GS and GT are totally different. GT pwns the hell out of a GS

Its not like back in the old days like 7800GS and 7800GT they were a little different now theres a big difference.

and technically, shouldnt my psu consumption be very low, considering the newer games use only the vid card, and very little cpu?
ive never had my processor full loaded ever.. even when playin crysis on my 8400gs. (lmed-low specs.)

You really gonna stick with the 250W? If you want then go for it.
When it fails then you will know that you need a better PSU.

Why do you have a downclocked CPU and 3 monitors? You Overclock cpus, you only downclock in mobile computing to conserve battery.

New games uses a lot of CPU and Video card, all depends on the settings.

But whatever... experiment some if you want, I didn't want to risk it when i went from integrated to a 2600XT so I got a cheap 600W.

250w? lol
no, unless you like random reboots and damaged components

A thermaltake 430w couldn't keep up with my system when I had a 8600gts.

i have it at the stock clock. its an allendale mobo, but the processor is meant for a conroe. so it doesnt match up.. its kinda odd. i dont have a compaq bios either. and my 3 monitors, well.. i barely use them. i ust.. have them on the desk, with the other 2 matching ones.. so it keeps it looking fluent. but besides that. no im not sticking with it. im gonna go with a 450w, because it is one of the highest psus for micro atx.

and im also lookin for a new mobo, but i dont think the slots on the mobo, will match up with the precut slots on the back. any ideas?

its micro atx, and a smaller nm type. it uses alot less power, than your mobo, and gts did.

I Have an Idea, I Have a 350W PSU but its BTX, not micro atx, could i plug that in, and use the molex adapter, just for the Graphics card as a temp solution till i can pay for the $110 500w psu? Or would it cause damage to my mobo? has anyone ever actually done this? or am i the first?
