Its not bad IMO. You do not need Uber resolutions on a lappy. If you do then you are going for the wrong screen size lol.

Thread Starter
ok well if the 8600m gt and 9500m gs perform the same, then how does the 9500m gs get a lower benchmark than the 3650 if its suppose to be better?

I just got this laptop and I'm really happy with it. Its definitly the right price and the 3650 gets the job done for me. I play Sins of a Solar Empire and CS:S so whether your going to do rts or fps its good. I tried to compare the 8600, 8700, 9500, and 3650 when I bought this and basically found the 8700 is probably the best, but generally not available or too expensive, the 8600M GT with DDR3, 9500M GS, and HD3650 all perform about the same, and the 8600M GT with DDR2 is a trap.

O and I basically replaced my desktop with it so I just plug in all my accessories when I have it at home, including my Viewsonic VX922, so the screen resolution isnt an issue, not that its that bad anyway. Overall system performance is quicker and graphics are about the same as my desktop, which was pretty high end 2 years ago.

It comes with Vista 32, so you need to upgrade to 64 for it to recognize all your ram but thats really the only quip I have with this laptop.

Have any Qs on this machine, PM me I'd be glad to try and help
