Lawlz, I'm laughing at myself on that one. Meant South Carolina, but I can't remember if that was even where it was... it was off the coast of some east-coast state.

i don't drink that koolaid either.
al gore != science

warming occurs but the slope of warming is UNCHANGED with EXPONENTIALLY GROWING fossil fuel use

because humans account for ~1-2% of global warming

that said, climate predicting models have many other uses

It's as tainted with political bais as the crap Gore spits out.

This makes no mention of the other side of the story.

Also, with regards to the quoted phrase in there, even many of those who do believe that human induced global climate change maybe significant would not predict the change to be anywhere near catastophic. The quoted line could easily be supported by scientists who believe essentially the opposite of what the link you posted advocates.

This seems like a pretty good argument for a more powerful and accurate climate model.

I agree with most of this.

However, the "benifical to the natural world" line is rediculous. Any change is going to benefit something, but harm other things just as much. Nature is just as prevalent in the heart of the harshest of natural ice ages as it is in the hottest of warm periods; it's just different.

That means exactly nothing. You are extremely shortsighted if you think otherwise.
Dude, go to Australia and then you should consider GW is BS.
That two weeks was in autumn not in summer.
Also I am in a drought and have been for now 5 years. So I am in water restrictions so while people are getting alot of water I am getting zero rainfall nearly every day.

I agree. Why don't they just run some Folding@home on that thing instead? That'd benefit humanity much more.

Like I keep saying lol...F&H will be null and void if thre are no humans left to cure due to being bent over by global warming lol.
