Okay that's out of the way.

Global warming is big business these days. This doesnt really surprise me. Too bad theyre not using a supercomputer like that for a better use.
Theres a better use for it other than making sure you can breathe/exist on earth in the future ?. Wow....it seems some have gotten there priorities a little mixed up lol.

If a scientist is in the bag with Al Gore, he can manipulate his data accordingly, and again, vice versa.

I'm not saying we shouldnt conserve or control pollution; obviously we should. But all this global warming talk IMO is just blatant propaganda that does nothing but line the pockets of Al Gorians. It's become a business now. In that regard, I'm very much opposed to it.
That was exactly what I expected of you. There is much scientific proof to global warming, but every time the issue is countered, the opposing ones always attack from a political viewpoint, calling it fake. If you can show proof then why don't you? Futhermore, if Al Gore does fake his data, I'm sure there would be many scientists around the world willing to call him out in public.

All those anti-global-warming people like you have always attacked Al Gore for his work, claiming it's a conspiracy and one that is a business. Thing is, those who say global warming is fake has always left a bad impression. Al Gore spends $300 million to put the issue in advertisements to acknowledge the ignorant, and the energy and oil industries immediately spend cash to tell people otherwise. Who here is lining the pockets for themselves?

The only thing business about it is the opposing side, where all the money is made. Al Gore could've pulled the same BS by telling us to buy Macs for some BS reason because he's part of Apple, but he didn't. It's a propaganda when corporations called it fake and convinced people to think the same.

heh. a real-time chaos theory sim. imagine the fun

thats what they're working towards i'm sure, i'd imagine this rig is nowhere near powerful enough, though. but what do i know?.

once its acheived, we are God!....well, almost.

It's a long-term climate change, and in no way affects sort-term weather predictions like hurricanes and the like.
If their was no global warming then their will be no warmer water.
I suppsect a more worser Hurricane that will wipe out 3 states.

It was supposed to be a Category 1 then got to a Category 5. Yes, it got into the hot water of the gulf.

Their is going to be worser than Katrina and we havent seen the full powers of earth.

John Coleman, founder of The Weather Channel, directly and adamantly contends with Al Gore's assertions that so-called global warming is man-made. He has a degree in Meteorology, and has been studying and reporting weather and climate change for over 50 years. You can read some of Coleman's research on the matter here: (PDF file). He uses real science and data that directly contends with, and debunks, many of Al Gore's claims.

With all due respect to Al Gore; he is not a meteorologist, climatologist, geologist, or anything close to such. He has a degree in Government. Now, I'm not saying that itself makes his argument invalid. But my point is; I'm much, much more inclined to place belief in the person with a formal education and training (and 50+ years of experience) in the field.... especially when the two gentleman's assertions directly conflict.

Coleman's take on Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth":

Quote:
Coleman is of the opinion that a debate on Global Warming should be pursued as his expertise as a meteorologist and scientist is in conflict with the assertions that Vice President Gore makes in his oscar-winning documentary "An Inconvenient Truth". Gore has turned down the challenge to debate Coleman claiming "The debate on Global Warming is over." Coleman claims that Gore's movie is based on junk-science and that "Global Warming Alarmism" is some ploy for purposes that are anything but science.
At one point, he actually wanted to sue Al Gore for fraud for imposing the "fact" that "global warming" is a direct result of human action. (Source) There are some more links that site, as well.

Coleman speaks of "global warming" at the 2008 International Conference of Climate Change and The Free Republic:
Quote:
It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming; it is a SCAM. Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create in allusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental whacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the “research” to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims.
So if anyone wants to believe Al Gore on the subject, fine, it's your right. But it's my understanding, judging by the information at hand, that doing so seems to be woefully misguided.

Its all politics at the end of the day....

One dude will say something and another dude will say its not true.

*Sigh*

The fact is Global warming is happening at an accelerated rate due to us Humans being fairly inconsiderate and crapping up the atmosphere. You will find that the people who say ''Global warming is propaganda'' are the people who do not want to get hit in the pocket....such as your Oil industries.

Im so sick of money and how it perverts us as a race. People would rather save a few million over being able to breathe properly. What is the point in building an empire when you cannot live to see it ? * Speaking to the oil companies and FAT cats of the world *

It seems that us humans never learn. To be quite frank the people who say ''Oh noes my house got smashed by a flood/hurricane'' well no offence, but you should then think that perhaps if you spread the word of global warming or attempted to make a difference rather than thinking ''Well these things happen''. No. Things dont just ''Happen'' its all cause and effect....we cause accelerated global warming which in turn can create freak weather fronts that come and smash up your house.

Its all well and good rebuilding your life after a devastating event but why not stand up and speak about what actually caused the devastation in the first place. I gaurentee it will always come down to the actions of the Human race.

It amazes me how we have made it this far, It really does lol.
