funny question.. but does it have front sound? and is it hooked up? i had a 2900+ and an asus kelut board from a compaq... and the sound wouldn't work unless i had the front sound plugged in

its plugged in the rear

last time this happened was 3 years ago when i had to install xp again, same problem, but i have no clue how i fixed it, took me about a week to figure it out though

it does have front sound, but its in a different case, so they dont hook right up, and i dont want to splice wires, god, power buttons and lights were killing me, stupid cheap speaker wire, and a dull knife

(oh and what temp are you sitting at? im at 38c, seems a bit high for idle dont you think?)
