I really hope that they don't add those ridiculous closet monsters again. That thing got really old a decade ago.
Some fresh ideas would be great.
In Rage all characters still looks like they are made of plastic. Maybe that will change in the future. yeah right

I have been waiting for this for a long, long time.

I am not trying to toot my own horn here, but for a considerable time I was considered the apex dominating player of Doom 3 Multiplayer. Sort of like how Kain totally dominates BF 2142 by leaps and bounds.

I still belong to a clan who continues to maintain three active Doom 3 servers. Once in a while I will get on there and completely dominate an entire server full of players who still play every day. Most of the time doubling or tripling the frags of the the next player down in the #2 slot.

ouch! remind me not to mess w/ u on doom3

I never really played the MP all that much tho. It's kinda like they tried to do the Q3a thing and failed... speaking of that. In Quake 4 it's like they wanted to do Q3a w/ quake 4 and fraked it up... lol. a lil offtopic, sry.

If you're planning on playing some Doom3, I recommend using some graphics mods. You can find them at http://doom3.filefront.com/files/;4071. I found the ones made by Dafama2k7 to be rather good.

id Tech 5 is based on OpenGl 2.1. OpenGl 3 news have been scarce lately so no idea when it's supposed to be out.
