Diagnose my problem...please :(

Thread Starter
It started a few weeks ago. When turning my computer on, all the lights and fans and stuff would turn on, but the computer would not boot up. If I restarted it, it would work fine. It kept getting worse over the next week or so, where it would only work after restarting it multiple times.

Finally, a couple days ago, no matter how many times I tried, it wouldnt boot up. I checked all my connections, reseated the CPU/ram/video card...etc, but nothing worked.

When it happens, nothing even shows up on my monitor, no POST, no BIOS...nothing.

This is my first desktop in a long time, so I dont have any spare parts to swap out and test stuff.

Could it be a bad hard drive, PSU, motherboard?

HALP!!! Before I start spending money to replace potentially fine parts.

It would still post if you had a HDD error but just ask you for a bootable disk. MAybe it could be your RAM? i know i overclocked my ram and it didnt even boot so i had to reset the jumpers.

try taking out everything unnecessary to boot: all RAM except for one stick, your GPU if you have onboard video, etc. Then try booting.

Nothing...and no onboard video, but I'm pretty sure it's not the GPU.
