And 3870 ... you can crossfireX it with HD4XXX series GPU. Very handy! I would seriously suggest against the 8800GT

8800GT outperforms the 3870 for just a little bit more money. And the DFI board is not crossfire...therefore 3870 = no.

why not go for the LT x48? it looks to be the same price, plus it has pci-e 2.0 and crossfire capability, then you could get the 3870 and crossfire it with a 4870 later?

You need to really think before you speak.
The p35 DFI supports crossfire ....

You have the DK, he is talking about the LT, which has two PCIE slots.

yes, but the p35 doesn't support pci-e 2.0 for futureproofing

why not just get the evga 750i ftw board. your going to spend around 180-200 an a mobo just get one for future upgrades

Well forgive me for not knowing that the P35 supports crossfire...I thought it was SLI only.

No need to be insulting about it. I generally find that I DO think before speaking.

Oh and thanks for you know...telling me what motherboard I have, I had forgotten and what not.
