what the heck???!!!

Thread Starter
I have a question! I have a ECS board that has pci-x v1.0 and im using a EVGA 9600 GT Graphics card its made for pci-x 2.0. How much performance am I missing out on by running this card on a pci-x 1.0 slot? I tried running Lost Planet on Max settings and I seem to have a hard time doing so. Its getting low FPS? Whats up with that? Anywho any advise would really help me.

Thanks guys

I don't have a specific number, but the performance hit is very, very small (if there even is one). I would look elsewhere for the problem if you think you are getting poor performance.

At what res are you running at? The pci-e slot might be at something lower than 16x.

at that res you aren't missing out on anything. pci-x 2.0 cards are fully compliant with pci-x 1.0 busses. When using only one card, and that resolution, you are not missing out on anything.
