Resetting problem

Hello, im new here

I have a really annoying problem - my rig is still resetting. The main problem is that I have no idea whats causing this...

80% of crashes are due idling (at night, when downloading stuff...)
20% of them are when its loaded - gaming, working (cinema 4d, photoshop etc.)

Any ideas ?

Looks like your CPU and RAM are both at stock... so it can't be an overclocking related issue... I'm guessing your HDD or OS is either messed up or your Memory is dieing... I would run the bootable version of Memtest to see if that's your issue...

If it passes that for 12+ish hours, try defragging then running a full on dskchk

Have you ever upgraded to a different motherboard and didn't reformat? If not driver conflicts would be causing that happened to me before. Could also be PSU related if you have a spare PSU try using that and see if it still happens.

Hey, thanks for fast replies

I bought this memory like 2 weeks ago (just like mobo and gfx card) - so I think its working well.

It will not pass even 3 hours... I know - it will crash...

I had some problems with this HDD - I'll try to borrow one from my friend and check this one.

Temps:
Idle - 27-31' C
Load - 47-55' C

Im sure its not a driver problem - it was like that 2 formats ago...

PS: I have 2x120mm fans in the side of my case, and it's sucking some (or even more than some... a lot) dust into... Maybe thats the problem ?

Load default bios.. Infact update your bios to the latest if you havn't, keep them at stock but make sure all your voltages are right. Alot of time ram timings/speed/voltage is set wrong by default and it can cause instability.

Most DDR2 ram takes 2.0-2.2v at higher speeds, and alot of bios tend to set it at like 1.8.

If It happens at stock I would run memtest86+ for atleast 6 loops (preferabbly more) to see if thats the cause, if that passes I'd took at the hard drive.

The fact it happens more on idle than load makes me think its not your CPU or GPU.

Also, if your computer is just plain restarting with no errors it is likely a faulty PSU. If you are getting BSODs and whatnot than its probably ram.
