Looks like we have our answer.

EDIT: I just realized, the box that most cards come in has a little window in the back where you can see the serial# sticker on the card next to the same sticker on the box. Do these two stickers match? If not, then you were duped when you picked it up originally.

Here's the power connector at least.

I have a feeling i'll be re-installing this and GPU-Z'ing before the eve is up. And before the auction ends at least.

Edit

Here is the Ordering Code from the sticker on the back of the card.. Taken directly from XFX's site...

Clockspeeds all match up as well.. This IS curious.

Box and Card numbers all match up.. This is strange. Sticker says Version A.0 if this matters at all?

And ye, thats me alright. Found the auction?

How can you own this card and not know with 100% certainty what it is?

Strange things can happen at some of the companies. This reminds me of Sapphire and their 512 bit, 256 bit 2900 Pro's. They release the 512 bit, but also sold the 256 bit in the same packaging without making it abundantly clear. they very well could have used left over parts to make a new model.

If you look on the XFX site like the poster said, the card is in fact a 7900GT. Just view the product images for yourself and you can see the 4 pin molex connector.

Absolutely correct, it's just not the reference design 7900GT. No surprises here.

At first i thought instantly it was a 7600gt because my x2 came in the EXACT same boxes, but my 7600's dont have a molex 4-pin power connector.. clearly as already stated 7900gt... but i love my UDD3 series.. although i wish XFX would chill out and just produce once stock, and one overclocked model.. all with different boxes. They are great cards, just millions of dif model numbers, finding a match for SLi a year or so later is completely impossible.
