HSF for Q9300?

Thread Starter
I have my Q9300 on order from TD and I've got an old (old is a subjective word since it's never been used) BT lying around and was wondering if this would be suffecient to cool my new quad. I see a lot of talk about the TRUE but frankly I spent enough money on my update to where I'd be happy to use a "new" part that I have lying around.

I forgot to mention that I'm not really looking to do any overclocking with this at the moment.

The BT should be good enough for that CPU, provided you don't overclock the wazoo out of it.

However, I'd recommend to lap the BT, since it doesn't have the greatest of surfaces. Also, an aftermarket, more powerful, fan might help out.
