Apparently thats all supposed to change. I just got an ad for some different service they now offer, its supposed to be much faster for cheaper.
Iv had bellsouth which is now owned by at&t last 3 years my internet only been out maybe 2 hrs combined and some of that was caused by storms.

Does anyone else see the real issue here? The internet is too powerful for the average person. They are passing legislation right now to spend 15billion dollars to stop internet child pornography. They claim they have 1400 IP addresses that are spewing this filth. Listen, child pornography will always happen, it has been that way since the time of the Greeks(instead of pornography..prostitution) and further back. It's messed up i agree, but seriously, 15 billion dollars wont go towards that.. it will go towards new laws governing our internet use. This is the same old "playing on our morals" style of legislature used to rally the public to make poor decisions.

I say that in this thread because the bandwidth isn't being used up by pirates or us. The bandwidth is being used up by commercial companies, as it still will even after our caps. Sure, 250gb isn't that bad, but this is how it starts. First it's 250gb, then 100gb, and next thing you know its a downward spiral to only 2gb's a day if you go through some special software that allows you to view whatever it is you're trying to find. I agree.. there are some fallacies with what i wrote, but clearly you haven't learned anything in your history classes if you don't see what laws can do after they've finally gotten onto the books. Ne who.. just my 2 cents

Thread Starter
While this is annoying i don't think it will be that big of a deal, a lot more options are becoming available and by the time this actually happens there will probably be better ones.
hopefully the free market will solve this problem
