Get a P35 board if your not going to SLI or CF.

DDR3 is not that worth it right now IMO, I would stick with DDR2. You could get a nice 4gb kit of DDR2 compared to a 2gb kit of DDR3 at certain prices.

CPU cooling: Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme (TRUE)
GPU Cooling: Thermalright HR-03GT w/ fan (best cooler) or Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 w/ fan (best bang for buck).

2nd the TRUE. Kentsfields are furnaces
Also the Antec 900 will give you good case cooling without additional fans, IMO. Although, some additional panaflo or yate 120 intakes wouldn't hurt.

I'd put the quad under a waterblock, if it were me though.

yeah you will need to get some fans for the TRUE too. I recommend the Scythe Slipstream and Scythe Kaze fans. Second the yate loons, but I don't know anything about the Panaflo fans.
