You could just do a closed loop. Just run it not connected to any components.

Res/t line > pump > rad > res/t line

Run it like that with some water and that will test it under pressure. If you have a D5 vario, make sure you have it at the highest setting.

Yeah that was what I was gonna go w/. I don't have the vario version.

wont effect performance but its damaged goods you dont pay for somthing new and get it in a condition like that, I would be pretty pissed.

I wouldn't recommend it considering all the crap and minerals that is in tap water. You can just go to a wal mart and pick up a gallon of distilled water for less than a dollar. It's $.72 at my wal mart.
