E8400 Lapping

Thread Starter
So, ive lapped my E8400, and its pretty good. Its mirror finish, perfectly flat. My only question is, when I got the processor, two of the edges of the IHS were tapered downward, it look like it was intentionally done by intel. Even with all the lapping i've done those edges are still there. Is that okay? or should I try to keep lapping until those are gone.

If you need I will post a pic, I havent lapped my TRUE yet so Im probably not seating it until this weekend.
