Maybe if he broke a law... Why are you so pessimistic?

I joke. But the point is, developing software and hardware hacking something you own isn't illegal. You should know that.

Oh, and patents are a joke. I don't count breaking patents as breaking a law because people accidentally develop something the same/similar idea all the time. It's scary. And patents are so unclear. I'd personally prefer people to steal the ideas of my work from under me to develop something new, rather than to patent my ideas, provided those who steal from me: 1. give me credit. 2. not clone what I've done, but create something new... "better."

I probably shouldn't talk any more. I feel like I'm writing an essay for Theory of Knowledge.

I'm rather amused by the attention this kid is getting. The creation of the FTIR multitouch setup is very well-documented by now. At nuigroup we have been constructing these for a while. I first built one of these last year, and I've got a 4' x 3' screen operating now.

I was coding since I was 8 (1998). Well the only C that I know is from that time.
Then I left programming for a long time. And I think it was a mistake (but not big), but "Deed is done". At least I know a lot of everything now, hehe.

Thats great. Lol Apple wont sue him. That would be very dangerous for Apple to be honest.

I would hope Apple would actually hire him or something.
