but if I'm aiming at a pc like the one I'm building, with top of the line components what's the first thing I have to look after in a motherboard, I don't want for it to make a bottleneck you know what I'm saying

This guy is funny... trying to SLI on x48 lol

+ your hard drive choice is funny compare to your other components selection.
you should consider velociraptor or 150G raptor to raid 0 or at least Seagate 7200.11

I am going with 2 500GB seagate 7200.11 and one 150GB raptor, and I didn't find out that I can't go SLI on x48 until later, I change the mobo to the 780i

Scrap the raptor, it's not worth the money. If you want better performance, just take 2-3 250's/500's/750's and put them in RAID 0(if you want RAID 5, you have to buy a 400-800 RAID card which isn't worth the money too)

I am gonna put the 2 seagate in RAID 0, but i was told that I get a better performance with the raptor, so keep the raptor just for games and the seagates for storage, what do you think?

My Intel ICH9R supports RAID 5.

I never said it didn't. The performance in RAID 5 sucks though on ICH9R I mean. Areca RAID cards destroy SBs on ALL motherboards in terms of performance. RAID 5 on your ICH9R will give you 1/4 or less that which an Areca RAID card can give, albeit for 500-800 minimum.
